In a 2004 survey of Arab countries, Osama bin Laden was rated the "most admired leader" most often in the UAE, garnering
19% of those surveyed.
This was higher than in Jordan, which in another survey, expressed
55% overall support for bin Laden.
It is therefore fair to assume that the majority of UAE residents support bin Laden.
