UAE Ranks Highest in Support for bin Laden

In a 2004 survey of Arab countries, Osama bin Laden was rated the "most admired leader" most often in the UAE, garnering 19% of those surveyed.

This was higher than in Jordan, which in another survey, expressed 55% overall support for bin Laden.

It is therefore fair to assume that the majority of UAE residents support bin Laden.

UAE hostility to the US in general was overwhelming, with 73% unfavorable vs. only 14% favorable responses.

Is this the country that should have inside information on US port security?
