Yes I agree with the contention that the "surgery" is a mortal error and not a painful life-saver. My point was that the sales plan for the Right in this election was to focus on how painful the Gaza withdrawal was, not on whether retreat in the face of Jihadi aggression is a mortal error or a life-saver. That was one of many mistakes which can be pinned on the leadership of the Right.

I have not seen those errors honestly discussed anywhere other than on the Israel Matzav blog. I'd love to hear of others, but if the Right doesn't learn from failure, the mistakes will be repeated.
