Navy Foils Arms-Smuggling Attempt


"This morning, Navy personnel detected two Arab swimmers on their way from Egypt to a Gaza shore, laden with arms and weapons. The Israelis opened fire, hitting one, but refrained from shooting at the second because of his proximity to civilians. The maritime smugglers were detected in a no-swim zone."

'All Israel Will be Attacked by Kassams'

Likud Chairman Binyamin Netanyahu warned on Thursday that if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert executed his realignment plan "the whole of Israel will be (attacked by) Kassams."

"The terror will not stop because of it, what we will get is something different - a Hamas victory," he said.

Netahyahu added that the Hamas leadership needed to know that Israel's retaliation would bring an end to its rule. He said that not enough had been done to prevent Kassam rocket attacks.
