Hizbollah?s War for Iran and Syria

I can't help but think that Iran is forcing Israel to defend itself, so that the US will stand behind Israel in support. The support of the US can then be spun in such a way to make it appear as "evidence" that the only reason the US is in the middle east is to promote Israeli interests. That in turn could be used to promote more people to participate in the "insurgency" in Iraq, which Iran hopes will break the American will to stay there. US departure from Iraq would open all sorts of boxes, including an attempt by Iran to begin to reestablish the Persian empire.

If the US can be forced to lose it's will in Iraq, perhaps it's will to support Israel can also be shaken. Without US support, survival of Israel may become much more tenuous, at least in the eyes of the Iranians. If Israel is weakened by lack of US support, & lack of US will to return to the Mid-East militarily, they may see the end of Israel at hand. So they make good on their long standing threat to push the Jews in to the sea.
