Its inappropriate comment for the current tme. Whether Israel will be applauded or not will entirely depend on the outcome. "History is written by the winning faction", as some one said. If Israel goes along with this fiendish cleansing of non-Jews, then that day is not long when the Fourth Reich will be fledging. But this time, it wont be a Hitler.

Your reply is very emotional and hits the Jewish nerve where it hurts the most. It is true that like our neighbours we have fanatics and blood-thirsty criminals. Unlike them, they are a small minority that does not set the tone. Israel's supreme court is impecable, and confronts the government even with delicate issues such as the wall seperating the west bank from Israel. On the other hand it gives the government in secial circuimstances the ability to arrest anyone that tries to deliberatly hurt their arab neighbours, even before any crime is commited. It is low and incorrect to compare Israel, or nearly anyone in the world, to Hitler and the Nazi regime. Whether you agree with the actions of Israel or not, saying they are going "along with this fiendish cleansing of non-Jews" is simply incorrect.
Israel has dropped flyers over Southern Lebanon urging the civilians to evacuate their villages and move north. They have set deadlines, which they have moved back more than once, to help allow these civilians a safe path away from harm. They have also sent out this message on the local TV stations, radio stations, and informed the leaders of the communities. If they wanted to remove the entire Arab race from the face of the Earth, as Hitler did to the Jews, they would not have taken these precautions. Israel has the power to completely destroy Hizbullah and Lebanon in one day. The restraint they have showed against terror throughout the years proves your comments wrong. Lots of civilians in Lebanon are dying; however, they are not targeted. Arabs are not being targeted, Muslims are not being targeted. Both live peacefully within the borders of Israel. Terrorists are being targeted, noone else. If Hizbullah had not taken the civilians of Lebanon hostage by storing their weapons and soldiers in residential areas and mosques (which, by the way, Israel allows civilians to go to, promising not to hit them, so the Lebanese citizens can take refuge), very few civilians would die. So...regardless what you believe of Israel's actions, comparing them to the Nazis and saying they are trying to cleanse the world of non-Jews is simply not true. Next time you post, Magus, use some reason and base your arguments on knowledge rather than simply attacking the side you don't agree with. I don't agree with Hizbullah's rockets they launch into Israeli cities where no IDF bases, strongholds, arsenals, or weapons are stored, but this doesn't make Hizbullah equivalent to the Nazis. Even after a cease-fire has been made, and nobody is being killed, real peace will only be acheived when Jews and Arabs can live together as neighbors and friends, helping eachother become great nations.
