Canadian UN Soldier Killed in Lebanon Complained His Position Shielded Hezbollah

This is in response to the article on Hezbollah firing from near UNIFIL positions:Why is it that no one in the media has addressed the abject failure of the U.N. and Kofi Annan? Since Israel pulled out of Lebanon six years ago, Hezbollah has been able to (and been allowed to) build up an arsenal of sophisticated weaponry, build a vast complex of tunnels and underground hardened bunkers all under the eyes and ears of U.N. peace keepers and observers. How has this come to pass? Where were the two thousand U.N. observers while this was going on? This was allowed to happen by the government, president and prime minister of Lebanon; all the while knowing the obvious outcome of this action-the consequences of which is now all too apparent. Hezbollah has taken Lebanon hostage, using its? people as human shields, ,storing their weapons in schools, ,mosques and private residences, yet according to them, ,no one knew what was going on(a chilling throwback to a time in Germany in the 1930?s ).
