Shomron: We Must Change the Rules of Play

Speaking to Channel 1 TV on Monday afternoon, former IDF Chief of Staff Dan Shomron stated, ?we did not choose to go to war but we must realize that now, we must change the rules of play.?

Shomron stated that Hezbollah must be neutralized and the threat facing Israel must be eliminated. He stated that a ceasefire cannot be entertained prior to reaching the objectives set by the military.

Shomron stated that mistakes do occur in war and as unfortunate as they may be, they are part of reality.

?We must achieve our goals in order to change the reality,? stating that even if there is not widespread support for such a move, including the United States, the objectives must be achieved."
