42% of Americans: God Gave Israel to Jews

Let this end once and for all two widely-believed canards:
  • Christians only support Israel in order to convert them in an eschatological scheme.


  • The American government supports Israel because of the small minority of Jews. I would not be surprised if less than 42% of Jews believe Israel was God-given
    • The amazing thing is that there are imams who also believe the Koran says Israel was given to the Jews forever (of course, there is a large incentive to keep that opinion to themselves).
