US Teacher Hands Out Word Search: "Allah Destroy America"
Knesset Defense Committee Calls for Resignation of Peretz, Halutz
Although the great majority of Israelis want the current failed leadership to step down, they are power and money-hungry and have no shame. As long as they wield power, they will never step down willingly.

Earlier I documented how the leaders of Israel from Chelm had settled on a policy of retaliating against terror through attacks on empty buildings and empty fields as well as by making loud noises. Thus the evening news could show domestic audiences explosions to give the appearance that the country was being defended while avoiding international condemnation.
Apparently the Palestinians have found the flaw in this tactic. After Israel provides notice that a terrorist leader's home is about to be destroyed, "human shields" rush in:
Palestinian Human Shields Save Home of Terrorist Leader in Gaza
Hundreds of Palestinians Saturday evening prevented the IDF from blowing up the house of Mohammed al-Baroud, a senior commander in the Salah a-Din Brigades, the military arm of the Popular Resistance Committees. Sources in the Gaza Strip said that after al-Baroud received a phone call from the IDF warning him to leave the house because it was about to be bombed, hundreds of Palestinian civilians gathered around the house, stood in the yard and on the roof, in order to prevent the attack.
The protest was broadcast live by Palestinian television, and the crowds chanted, "Death to America and death to Israel." Later an Israeli military spokesman confirmed that "the attack plan was cancelled because of the people there." As was the case in Jenin, Israeli soldiers will now die to protect what the morally blind IDF Spokesman called "innocent civilians." As this story describes, ground forces will now be required to attempt to shoot around the omnipresent "human shields" when air force pinpoint strikes were previously used:
Ground Forces to Fight Human Shields
Concerned that Palestinians will create human shields around every terror target in the Gaza Strip, a high-ranking officer said Sunday that the IDF was prepared to launch ground raids into Palestinian territory to demolish buildings that could not be destroyed in airstrikes. The officer said that the IDF would continue to phone Palestinians before bombing the homes of known terrorists, but might change the amount of time it gave the Palestinians to evacuate the area.

Jimmy Carter, unlike most Democratic politicians who have to hide their true beliefs to win elections, is openly anti-Israel and pro-Jihad. Which may earn him an honored position in the world body devoted to promoting evil over good:
As Palestinian Arab rockets struck two Israeli towns yesterday, U.N. bodies prepared to launch no fewer than two overlapping "fact-finding" missions to second-guess Israel's anti-terrorist tactics. President Carter could head one of those missions.
The U.N. General Assembly is expected to convene a special emergency session tomorrow to deal with the November 8 Israel Defense Force artillery strike on the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun, which killed 19 civilians. A draft resolution for the assembly session calls on the U.N. secretary-general to establish a fact-finding mission into the event and requests that he report back to the assembly in a month.
And yesterday in Geneva, the U.N. Human Rights Council, which in its five months of existence has failed to pass one resolution on any country other than Israel, concluded its third emergency session on the Jewish state. In the session's resolution, the council called on its president, Ambassador Alfonso de Alba of Mexico, to establish a fact-finding mission to investigate the incident at Beit Hanoun.
A diplomat in Geneva who requested anonymity said the sponsors of the resolution are planning to ask Mr. Carter to head the investigation. Other candidates include the diplomats Martti Ahtisaari of Finland and Sadako Ogata of Japan.
Israel, which is conducting its own investigation into the incident, has yet to decide on its level of cooperation with the U.N. probes. As usual, Israel will make some public statements of complaint for domestic consumption, but make no substantive efforts to stop this. Olmert and company have bigger concerns.

Despite 6,584 deadly Islamist terror attacks since 9/11, the mainstream media has covered up the threat. Tonight, however, CNN Headline News will be running a powerful documentary on the topic at 7 pm, 9 pm and again at Midnight EST. There is absolutely no substitute for witnessing this with one's own eyes, so please spread the word.
For the first time, according to the show's producers, Americans will be able to see actual videos from Middle East television and other sources that show just how dangerous the "radical Muslims" really are.
"It's unbelievable footage ? very eye-opening, and it's exclusive," say producers.
Beck notes that his passion for the project is grounded in his strong opinion that "political correctness is going to kill us" because people are too afraid to show such explicit video and talk about it for fear of repercussions.

Last week, IRIS was probably the first to ask the question whether the universally reported Hamas-Fatah civil war is a scam. Certainly America and Israel have been snookered by Arafat and Abbas' good cop (Fatah) / bad cop (Hamas) routine for years. When speaking in Arabic, however, Fatah is as just as bad a cop as any, as this story shows:
Fatah's Al-Aksa Brigades and Others Declare War on America
Four Palestinian Authority terrorist groups, including that of PA President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah organization, called on Muslims worldwide to attack America "with no mercy."
In a joint statement issued on Sunday, the four groups announced that the United States will be a target for them to the same extent Israel is....
The statement more specifically called on the Arab states to support the terrorist groups financially and materially, to "enhance the resistance against the Israeli and American enemy."

Despite 6,557 deadly terror attacks since 9/11, Michael Moore (the most honored non-politician at the latest Democratic convention) stands by his claim that " There is no terrorist threat." Meanwhile, rational newsreaders wait for the morning when a West city disappears:
Al-Qaeda Seeking Technology for Nuclear Attack on West
Al-Qaeda is trying to acquire the technology to carry out a nuclear attack against Western targets including Britain, a senior British Foreign Office official said Monday.
"We know the aspiration is there. We know attempts to gather materials are there, we know that attempts to gather technology are there," he said.

It is universally reported that Hamas and Fatah have been engaged in violence and have been massing arms in preparation for battle with each other. This is expected by most analysts to flare into a civil war.
Of course it is possible that this is true, but there is little truth reported about the Palestinians, so it is prudent to be skeptical. Abbas has been following his long-time mentor (Arafat) in a Fatah good cop / Hamas bad cop ruse, which has succeeded in frightening the US, Europe and even Israel to fund, arm and train Fatah's terrorist forces, lest Hamas gain the upper hand. It has been reported about Arafat that he okayed the murder of Palestinians purely for propaganda benefits (for the source, see this absolute must-read on Arafat).
Some of the alleged Hamas-Fatah skirmishes have been reminiscent of the obviously fraud of Moussa Arafat's bodyguards in pretending to protect him. Ten of his bodyguards fired guns for forty minutes against his assassins and did not hit a single person. Although Moussa Arafat was shot dead when his bodyguards ran out of ammunition, none of them were subsequently harmed. Of course all this had occurred a stone's throw from Abbas' office, but none of the ubiquitous Palestinian security forces seemed aware of the battle.
The attack on Haniyeh's convoy similarly smells fishy. His convoy came under attack, one of his cars was torched, gunfire was exchanged, yet no one was injured.
It is completely possible that this is all a ruse. Certainly it has been very successful for Abbas, gaining him enormous quantities of money and arms from those he demonizes with the media he controls.
Of course the upshot of Abbas' recent threats to fire the entire Hamas-led cabinet has been to form a unity government in the end. Abbas has promised to ban Hamas numerous times. Most ludicrously, he promised to ban Hamas' participation in the elections in which Hamas won a landslide. Later when pressed by the US to implement his commitment, he promised to ban Hamas just after the election.
Here are some recent stories which highlight the benefits of this strategy:
U.S. Expects Israel to Agree to Gaza Deployment of PLO Brigade from Jordan
Israel Okays Transfer of 5,000 Rifles to Abbas
U.S. Hopes to Strengthen Abbas
U.S. emissaries David Welch and Elliott Abrams arrived with an ambitious plan formulated by Lt.-Gen. Keith Dayton, who is coordinating security vis-a-vis the Palestinians for the U.S. administration. The U.S. wants to push Abbas into a military confrontation in Gaza which will topple the Hamas government. Dayton drew up an outline for training and equipping the forces loyal to Abbas with rifles from Jordan and Egypt, and British and Egyptian instructors. There has been less enthusiasm in Israel, but it is hard to refuse the Americans; and the solution was to affirm the Dayton plan in principle, without committing to its details.

Jaw-dropping news from Jihad-supporting Dearborn:
Open Hezbollah supporter and extremist Muslim, David Turfe, was unfortunately elected a Michigan District Court Judge in Dearborn Heights 20th District....Remember the Hezbollah rally I attended at the Bint Jebail Cultural Center a/k/a the Hezbollah Social Club, at the height of the war between Hezbollah and Israel--where speakers made a plethora of anti-American, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian speeches? Turfe was there campaigning, and openly supporting and cheering all of those statements....And his close relative, Mohammed Turfe (I'm told that's his brother), was one of the speakers uttering those statements....Haj Mohammed Turfe, Founding Chairman of the Bint Jebail Cultural Center, gleefully and repeatedly spoke of how "only a few thousand Jews will survive Armageddon." This mantra, repeated often throughout the event, got raucous, deafening applause and cheers. An election official reported anonymously the presence of many Muslims who could not speak any English, as well as many ballots that were blank except for a vote for Turfe.
Turfe apparently has the same regard for English grammar that he has for Jews. Here is an excerpt from a questionaire he filled out. It is an answer to the question: "What is the best movie you've seen in the past 12 months? Having four boys the best movie I seen in the last 12 Months have been taking the boys to the Movies.

The similarity of the rhetoric of Islamists and Democrat leaders (as well as their allies in the mainstream media) is quite eerie. Both love the 'Vietnam' meme. Don't forget that Nasrallah is rapidly acquiring thousands of new missiles to rain down again on Israel at will. Don't forget that the Democrats fought to have missile defense research stopped on the grounds that the US signed an agreement with the defunct Soviet Union. Don't forget that missile defense is a key to preventing Israel's destruction.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah: When We Were Young, I cannot Forget the Sight of American Forces leaving Vietnam, and the Americans Abandoning their Vietnamese Allies, I Anticipate the Same for our Region
Hassan Nasrallah: We consider the resistance in Iraq, or in any occupied country - and there is no doubt that Iraq is an occupied country ? to be legitimate resistance, which is justified and appropriate. This is the appropriate course, which may lead to the liberation of Iraq, and we support and endorse this resistance. But we definitely distinguish between military operations that target the occupation forces and the operations, which we term ?criminal,? that target innocent Iraqi people, and that shed blood under illegitimate slogans....
When I talk about an [American] failure, I?m not saying that the Americans? plan for the region has collapsed, and that they are packing up their things and leaving, like what happened in the final days in Vietnam. But I would like to tell you clearly... I am one of those people who see a very clear picture. In our childhood... When we were young boys... I cannot forget the sight of the American forces leaving Vietnam in helicopters, which carried their officers and soldiers. Some Vietnamese, who had fought alongside the Americans, tried to climb into these helicopters, but the [Americans] threw them to the ground, abandoned them, and left. This is the sight I anticipate in our region, but I am not saying it will happen in months. It will take years. The Americans will gather their belongings and leave this region - the entire region. They have no future whatsoever in our region. They will leave the Middle East, and the Arab and Islamic worlds, like they left Vietnam. I advise all those who place their trust in the Americans to learn the lesson of Vietnam, and to learn the lesson of the South Lebanese Army with the Israelis, and to know that when the Americans lose this war ? and lose it they will, Allah willing - they will abandon them to their fate, just like they did to all those who placed their trust in them throughout history....
When I spoke at the rally on Friday, and said we have 20,000 missiles, they began saying: ?There is chaos on the borders, and they can bring missiles in.? This is not true. When I said that the resistance had more than 13,000 missiles, it, in fact, had more than 33,000 missiles. Now, when I talk about 20,000... For six years, we were preparing... or rather, anticipating a war some day - a vicious, large-scale, and dangerous war, knowing that the Israeli enemy would not keep silent after its defeat in 2000, and that the Israeli enemy would never accept an honorable, loyal, and serious Arab Lebanese resistance force as its neighbor in Lebanon. It was planning a war some day, and we were prepared for it. Now, we still possess what we had in the past. We were ready to fight for a long period of time, and we took into consideration the possibility of a siege by land, sea, and air.

An important reminder, written by a Democrat, as the nation standing between Islamism and world domination goes to the polls:
There is only one issue in this election that will matter five or ten years from now, and that's the War on Terror.
And the success of the War on Terror now teeters on the fulcrum of this election.
If control of the House passes into Democratic hands, there are enough withdraw-on-a-timetable Democrats in positions of prominence that it will not only seem to be a victory for our enemies, it will be one.
Unfortunately, the opposite is not the case -- if the Republican Party remains in control of both houses of Congress there is no guarantee that the outcome of the present war will be favorable for us or anyone else.
But at least there will be a chance.
I say this as a Democrat, for whom the Republican domination of government threatens many values that I hold to be important to America's role as a light among nations.
But there are no values that matter to me that will not be gravely endangered if we lose this war. And since the Democratic Party seems hellbent on losing it -- and in the most damaging possible way -- I have no choice but to advocate that my party be kept from getting its hands on the reins of national power, until it proves itself once again to be capable of recognizing our core national interests instead of its own temporary partisan advantages.
To all intents and purposes, when the Democratic Party jettisoned Joseph Lieberman over the issue of his support of this war, they kicked me out as well. The party of Harry Truman and Daniel Patrick Moynihan -- the party I joined back in the 1970s -- is dead. Of suicide.

Recently I highlighted the angry comments by liberal activists about the death sentence for Saddam Hussein. Palestinians share this view, just as they celebrated 9/11:
Schoolgirls marched and shopkeepers closed down their stores in Jenin on Monday in protest at the death sentence handed down against Saddam Hussein by a Baghdad court which found him guilty of crimes against humanity.
Carrying pictures of Saddam, about 250 girls from seven to 13 years old paraded through the town's refugee camp, chanting "Beloved Saddam, strike Tel Aviv," the same slogan shouted by jubilant Palestinians when Iraqi rockets slammed into Israel during the 1991 Gulf War - before the marchers were born.
Under Saddam's rule Iraq donated $25,000 per household for Jenin residents to rebuild homes destroyed in a 2002 Israeli military offensive there. Funny how the AP left out Saddam's similar-sized rewards paid to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers.
