IRIS Intifada Thesis Endorsed by French Police Union

During the Paris riots, IRIS led the many voices disputing the reporters' assertions that the violence had no religious motives whatsoever. Here is the mass of evidence I assembled at the time demonstrating that what was occuring was an intifada.

Since then, IRIS has continued to collect the rare reports of horrific attacks by Muslims on the French police (such as this). Here, for example, is video of police cars simply fleeing after coming under attack by Muslims.

Now a French police union has revealed that 14 officers each day are injured in attacks by a Muslim "intifada."

This article presents the ludicrous implication that coordinated attacks on the police are standard behavior for criminal gangs. Here is the crux of the little-understood Islamist threat to the West. Islamists and Western criminals share certain superficial characteristics, which mainstream journalists emphasize in order to deemphasize the threat of the global Jihad. The crucial difference is that criminality is largely an individual Western vice, and is therefore not the slightest danger to society's survival. Islamists, on the other hand, express their desire to overthrow infidel society via criminal depravity.

The moral deficiencies of typical criminals makes them crumble under the slightest pressure, as NYPD Blue used to emphasize so graphically. A great many crimes are "solved" by confessions, sheer stupidity, and tip-offs from associates. Because Islamists operate in a world in which most Muslims agree with the goal of Jihad (while "moderates" largely disagree only on the pragmatic issue of timing), most Muslim criminal activities, as well as terror attacks are never revealed to the authorities. Certainly there is little to no shame because that is a function of conscience. At its core, most imams present Islam as supporting violence against infidels as a method of war.

The classic movie The Warriors opens with the idea of criminal gangs uniting to "take over," but this is pure fantasy. Only Islamists would be united by ideology to create zones in which even police are scared to enter.

The Jihad operates globally by conquering territory through violence and legal immigration, consolidating its hold, and then expanding it. The solution, therefore, is to fight it the way Republicans (particularly Reagan) approached the Cold War--by countering it on every front. Including in the suburbs of Paris.
