No Compulsion in Islam

Apologists for Islam frequently tell Western audiences that "there is no compulsion in Islam." Here, for example, are a few hundred Web pages containing that phrase. Here, however, is a continuously updated post showing that this is simply taqiya to convince infidels not to worry and therefore not to defend themselves against the Global Jihad. Unfortunately, the strategy has been working despite thousands of deadly attacks since 9/11 (not to mention the Islamist genocide currently under way in the Sudan).
