The
Israeli Air Force responded to Hamas attacks Sunday evening, striking targets throughout Gaza after at least 15 Kassam rockets and mortar shells hit the western Negev injuring 3 Israelis since the beginning of the day.

The targets included a Hamas stronghold, and several tunnels on the Philadelphi Route. According to the sources, the fire triggered several explosions, indicating that Hamas as resumed its arms smugglings. No casualties were reported.
On Monday morning, just before noon and minutes after several mortar shells struck an open area in Eshkol region, the IAF launched a missile at a vehicle in Gaza's town of Rafah killing 1 terrorist and injuring 3 others. The IDF reported that they were all part of the cell which had just fired a mortar shell into Israel.
On Monday evening, Hamas terrorists fired a Kassam rocket which hit a kibbutz in the Sha'ar Hanegev region.
A second Kassam was launched toward Sderot hitting
a security barrier south of the town. The Color Red alert sounded in Sderot just before the rocket hit
interrupted students taking a matriculation exam in a Sderot school.
