Gaza Underwear Bomber Receives Half the Sentence of US Underwear Thief

A Gaza Arab whose suicide bomb accidentally malfunctioned and did not explode when she pressed the detonator received a twelve-year sentence. For comparison, jail terms of this length have been imposed in the US for tax evasion and securities fraud. An underwear thief was sentenced to 24 years for two thefts.

The suicide bomber's case had a number unique factors:

-she admitted during a news interview to planning to kill 40-50 people,

-she admitted to wanting to kill as many hospitalized children as possible in retaliation for the Mohammed al-Dura fake televised death performance as I detailed earlier,

-she had been allowed into Israel to continue her free treatment for cooking burns,

-her bomb was stitched into her underwear,

-she was supposed to have been searched by a Palestinian policewoman on the Gaza side of the checkpoint in an attempt by Israel to maintain women's dignity.
