Multi-Pronged Hizbullah Attack on Northern Israel Wounds Eleven

For the life of me I don't understand why some of our leaders (here in Israel) do NOT understand that placating and accommodating these people will NOT bring peace! We are not dealing with the kind of people for whom 'giving' is reciprocated in kind. They look at it as weakness to be taken advantage of. I understood years ago that giving up land would only result in an increase of terrorism. Ariel Sharon - while campaigning before he became Prime Minister - promised (yes, promised) that there would be no leaving Gaza or Yehuda and Shomron. He said that communities in Gaza were no different than Tel Aviv. He campaigned against Amram Mitzna who ran on a campaign of 'disengagement.' Now Sharon is 'promising' (again) that there will be no further 'disengagements.' Hah! Does he really expect people to believe him???
