I predict that history will repeat itself and like the many previous "new centrist party" initiatives, this too shall fall far short of the initial polls predicting 30-35 seats. Sharon's adoption of the leftist habit of ignoring history has not only damaged Israel's standing in terms of security; it has also cost him the political power he so craved.
